Research the maintenance needs
By rjnvegas | on Wednesday, April 04, 2018
Overall I have been pleased with my Q7, but I would suggest that any potential buyer invests in time-consuming due diligence to truly understand what is necessary for the maintenance of a performance vehicle. I experienced loud brake squeaking around 15,000 miles and was told that I would most likely need to replace in the span of a few months. At 20,000 miles I have been advised that my tires and brakes need to be replaced. This is very common amongst Audi and the Q7. It is a critical missing piece to truly understand the cost of ownership and I think it is important for the consumer to know. Other than that, the Q7 fits my needs offering a usable third row without the large size. It is somewhat generic interior is unimpressive. The technology within is fun, and like most new things, can be glitchy at times. Overall it is reliable.… - 5.0

Wanted to close the deal and drive it home but....
By Czeal | on Monday, January 22, 2018
Went to the dealership and try finalize the deal weve made the other night. This time I brought the wife whod be driving this particular SUV. Shes been driving the volvo XC90 which is over 10 years old. So at least she can distinguish her likes and dislikes: She likes the value, driving dynamics, comfort/convenience, design and quality. Most of the things that these other reviewers here, all you tube reviewers and KBB Exert reviers are true and music to her ears. But there things that important to her that closed her fists. Third row air vents - If you have 4 passengers and a driver then its hard for the air to get to the 3rd row. In this case she has her dog always wanted to ride with mama. Texas heat would be just to hot if she has to wait for the air to circulate to the trunk or 3rd row. No spare tire - Run flat tire is a nightmare most of the time. MSRP of this car doesnt even makes sense not to have one. Not enough selections for the type and size of these tires. Not even mentioning the cost each tire. 300-400 per Audi connect prime plus - This should be at least 24 months to 48 months free subscription instead of 6 months. Adaptive cruise control - Should be replaced with semi-autonomous. Heads Up Display - should have the choice to Turn Off/ON and includes turn signal. Center Console - Storage is very small and not so deep where the apple car play or android auto USB plugs are located. Think the USB plug thats located at the front of the console might serve the same purpose. not sure Android mini USB that comes with it is not compatible with Galaxy note 7 or 8. Cup Holders - Just Tiny for our needs. 2nd row center middle seat - Not friendly for adult passenger because the floor is not flat. Why takes up so much height in the center floor? 3rd row seats - just a sales gimmick. Youd break either your knees, ankles, or back sitting there for a long drive. 1 year periodic maint- should increase to 4 years like the other brand.…
